Mueller Industries Moves to Proactive Maintenance with L2L

Mueller Industries' Great Lakes Copper plant needed to move from reactive to proactive maintenance. Not only were teams bogged down with static preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, but manual data management processes made parts requisition slow and frustrating.

To establish a more proactive approach to maintenance, the company implemented L2L to increase visibility into its end-to-end production process and simplify parts requisition with a no-code app solution.

Within just months of deploying L2L, Mueller saw improvements in its job tracking abilities, and managers finally had the data they needed to track operational efficiency (OE).

“Everybody’s been quite excited about it,” Steve Thompson, Process Improvement Technician, said. “We feel like we’re getting value for our investment.”
