Stop firefighting. Start preventing.
Replace phone calls, walkie-talkies, and paper logs with one system that turns work orders, PM schedules, and technician logging into a single source of truth for the whole maintenance team, not just one desk.
-
Catch failures before they become downtime, not after.
-
Give every technician the same standard every shift.
-
Cut the manual reporting that eats the team's week.
The problem we solve for your maintenance team
You're reconciling uptime and PM numbers from work-order logs by hand the night before the ops review. 45%* of maintenance teams we talk to describe this.
Paper logs and informal notes don't roll up cleanly (33% of maintenance teams report this), so the backlog on the whiteboard never quite matches the backlog in the system.
Downtime still gets called in by phone, text, or walkie-talkie (27% of maintenance teams report this). Every minute of that hand-off is a minute of extra downtime nobody's measuring.

How it works during a shift
Chad from West Liberty Foods
"L2L helps our maintenance teams maintain a world-class standard. Everyone has real-time visibility into what’s happening at our plant. If we have a problem, we can quickly get to the root cause of it. L2L has not only saved us money, but it has also improved our processes and made us more productive with the resources we have."
Jon K
"Eliminating paper maintenance work orders has been a huge win. We have increased productivity, visibility, and prioritization. The software is easily adapted to our needs."
Denny from Westinghouse
"The L2L data has helped Maintenance and Operations teams understand the importance of what they do. The culture is starting to change"
Even better maintenance with the help of AI
When a machine shows signs of failure, L2L Execution AI surfaces the root cause and the right fix, with the technician and parts already identified.
Your team can make the call and get to the repair in minutes, not after hours of diagnosis.

Frequently asked questions about L2L for maintenance teams
Does L2L replace our existing CMMS (eg. Maximo), or work alongside it?
L2L can replace your CMMS. It covers the core jobs, which are work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, asset records, and spare parts. It also adds what most CMMS tools lack: operator-run inspections, real-time alerts, and a live link to production data. Your existing PM schedules can be loaded in bulk from a template, with your current PM codes carried over. If you need to keep your current system during a transition, talk to L2L about how the two can share data.
How fast can our team see dispatch and notification-speed improvements?
Response times show up on the live maintenance dashboard as soon as issues are logged in L2L, so you have a baseline from the start and can watch it change. The improvement comes from rules you set once. Alerts reach the right person by text, email, Teams, or WhatsApp, and they escalate to the next person if no one responds in time. ADAC reported faster response to downtime events after rollout, and Purple saw results right away at its Grantsville plant.
What does the technician-side logging experience actually look like day-to-day?
A technician gets an alert on their phone and opens the job on a phone, tablet, or computer. The machine’s history and suggested spare parts are already loaded. They follow the checklist or instructions attached to the job, request spares from the same job, and track their time against it. When they close it, they record what was done, on which part, and why, so the fix becomes data you can analyze later.
Can we move from reactive to predictive/condition-based maintenance on L2L?
Yes, in stages on one system. Operators start by catching abnormalities with scheduled inspection checklists. PMs then run by time, cycle count, or condition. For cycle-based PMs, L2L learns each machine’s actual cycle rate from its PM history, once it has two completed PMs, and projects a due date with a confidence score. AI analysis then shows whether your PM program is reducing failures and which failure patterns keep coming back. Most plants add predictive monitoring on their most costly assets first rather than everywhere.
How long does deployment of L2L take for a maintenance-led rollout?
L2L is a comprehensive Manufacturing Operations Management platform, but a maintenance-led rollout can start with work orders, PM schedules, spare parts, and alerts, then add production tracking, skills, and work instructions later. Existing PM schedules load in bulk from a template, and one user says you can train someone to use it in under an hour. Purple’s Director of Maintenance called its implementation “extremely fast.” Usually, the first area is live and seeing results in just a couple of weeks.
How does L2L handle standardization across sites with different PM conventions?
Each site keeps its own settings, such as alert types, schedules, and thresholds, so a plant with different PM conventions can run its own cadence. What you standardize is shared across sites: checklists, work instructions, and how metrics like PM compliance, response time, and downtime are measured. ADAC runs a standard real-time process for monitoring downtime events across four facilities and more than 200 production lines.
What support do we get if we hit a snag mid-rollout?
L2L’s support team handles questions and issues, and the support portal has step-by-step articles and training videos you can search by problem. A sandbox environment lets you test changes before they go live. Some changes, such as loading PM schedules in bulk or adjusting dashboard thresholds, are handled by L2L support through a ticket.
