This September, we’re focused on reducing friction on the plant floor, whether that’s automating quality containment, cutting through dropdown clutter during a breakdown, or seamlessly scheduling concurrent production.

Here is what’s new in September.

Code Filtering by Sub-Asset

Machine-level component lists can often grow to hundreds of items, forcing operators to scroll endlessly or resort to typing vague free-text notes. For plants using sub-asset modeling, finding the right component code during a breakdown just got much faster and far more accurate.

What this means for you:

• Smarter pick-lists: Selecting a sub-asset on a Dispatch automatically filters the component list down to only the parts that apply to that specific piece of equipment.
• Faster Dispatch creation: Operators no longer have to scroll through hundreds of machine-level codes to find a single part, making precise coding faster than typing manual comments.

eKanban Planner: Native Concurrent WIP Scheduling

As production lines become more flexible, planners need the ability to manage complex multi-product runs without leaving their primary scheduling tool. Building on our Concurrent WIP (CWIP) capabilities, the eKanban Planner now natively supports scheduling concurrent orders on a line.

What this means for you:

• Schedule concurrent orders in one view: Planners can now assign multiple products to overlapping time windows directly inside the eKanban Planner.
• Set planned lane allocations: Assign and visualize lane allocations per order without relying on external spreadsheets or manual workarounds.
• Maintain existing workflows: Production planners can manage complex, multi-product line schedules in the tool they already use every day.

Feedback Deep Linking in L2L Guides

Managing content feedback is now significantly easier for admins and editors. Clicking a link in a feedback notification email or in-app modal takes you directly to the exact guide step or check where a team member left a note, speeding up review and resolution times.

Skill Description Guidance in Smart Skills

Admins and assessors can now add dedicated instructions and descriptions to individual skills. These guidelines display directly in the drawer for assessors and on the Skill page for operators, ensuring complete clarity on what a skill entails and how to demonstrate proficiency.

Custom Data Capture for Guides Checklists

Checklists now support an optional custom field at completion. Frontline operators can log product IDs, batch numbers, or specific operational metrics alongside standard checklist sign-offs, capturing valuable runtime data for downstream reporting and trend analysis.

A few things we're excited about heading into next quarter:

• Actionable Dispatch questions: Admins will soon be able to configure Dispatch questions to automatically trigger and route follow-up Dispatches based on operator answers, automating containment workflows for quality and safety events without relying on manual steps.
• Continuous eKanban Planner enhancements: Further refinements to concurrent scheduling and multi-line visibility to support complex plant configurations.
